Where We Came From

A love letter to

Tattered Fox was born from a simple observation: the best books in any child's life look like they've survived a war. Spines cracked, pages wavy from a bath-time read, covers soft from being clutched too many times to count.

Those are the books worth publishing. Not the ones that stay pristine on a shelf — the ones that get carried, loved, and passed down.

We are building a house for exactly those kinds of stories. Every book we publish is a bet on a child who deserves something extraordinary.

The Fox with

Our fox didn't start out tattered. Each patch on his coat is a story — a bedtime read that ran long, a chapter finished past midnight, a book that got dropped in a puddle and read anyway.

He's not worn because he's old. He's worn because he's been loved hard. That's the whole point.
